Despite corona measures, everything was very good
Unfriendly. No specialist staff. Way too expensive. Poor quality. I've been there a few times, every time there's something. Stressed staff and one wonders why? That much was not going on there either. The rolls really don't taste good. Orders are not being properly accepted. You are sometimes treated really sloppy. Now and then, one gets the impression that the prices fluctuate a lot, which is incomprehensible. The hygiene is not ok. Screeching among employees in the middle of the sale, so loud that you can hear stress from the kitchen. Good service definitely looks different. Waitress totally neglected, unfriendly and takes a long time. As a customer, you often have to wait a long time. Sometimes a crowd behind the counter but never time to answer a short question. The toilet smells often, there is a lack of toilet paper. Behind the counter, blue bags, it looks neglected, the equipment is not clean, which cannot be overlooked. Almost never free tables, e.g. due to regular customers so others have no chance of becoming one. Much too small selection of pastries. Signs with names and prices are really missing everywhere. It doesn't matter whether the shop is full or not, it is restless and it is much too loud to sit comfortably there. Are probably not dependent on customers. It's a shame, because the presentation of the restaurant itself on the internet looks very inviting and promising, and the reality is really disappointing, and certainly not since Corona.
Food and coffee tasted quite good, that. The only thing I really don't understand and what justifies this rating: Since 2019 there is a Steinfurt voucher in which the ello is entered, this is redeemed via a QR code, it's something ridiculous if you don't even have the technology to redeem a voucher within a whole year in which you obviously participated, many other shops that are included in the voucher can do it without any problems. I am super disappointed. Without compensation I will not show myself again and I will advise my friends not to visit the location.
Food was delicious, the price was absolutely great. Unfortunately, the kitchen is inflexible.

I had the feeling that the service staff was a bit uncoordinated and overwhelmed. The stress resulted in a lack of friendliness and attention. The quality of the breakfast was good and the waiting times, if you could order something, were quite short. Absolutely okay in terms of price.

We are horrified! Tried today to have breakfast for two at Ello. Arrived at 10:00 a.m., a table was quickly found. Breakfast menu and slip of identity (due to Corona) handed out. 10:10 the next waitress wanted to bring us the breakfast menu. Apparently she didn't like the fact that she had to take our orders. Some of our requested changes were commented inappropriately, even though we were told several times that we would be happy to pay the additional charge. As an example: leave out boiled eggs, scrambled eggs instead. Please do not bring the boiled eggs to the table, we are happy to pay more for scrambled eggs and do not want to waste food unnecessarily. According to her statement, the waitress could not do that because she would not be in the kitchen. Apparently unable to communicate with the kitchen either. Why I could not understand this obviously big problem of the waitress was then again inappropriately commented by her. While my husband was still adjusting his breakfast, the waitress was on the go and unwilling to listen to the end. She was told twice that we weren't finished with the order. It actually stayed until the end! I have to say, it was by no means full and at least four colleagues could be counted! (A little tip on the side: you are welcome to stop rolling your eyes when taking your orders. A smile has never hurt anyone. Perhaps offering a juice for breakfast would show interest in the guest and in the business!) First hurdle cleared. Hot drinks were quickly placed on the table without a word. 10:40 am actually came two plates with cold cuts (not everything as ordered), a basket with a missing bread roll, boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs. Everything from another waitress who was even friendlier. Before she could leave quickly, she communicated inequalities between the breakfast ordered and the breakfast delivered. Of course, she immediately took the boiled eggs back with her and eliminated the other errors. A remnant of the previous guest was still stuck on my cold cuts plate. According to the operator, the dishwasher is not defective. A new plate of cold cuts was brought. We even got plates to eat on request. Well then we can start! Rolls smeared, sausage unfolded and the grave of a fat, black, dead growler was found. To be honest, that was enough for me. Plate brought to the counter. The waitress trying to take the order came to the table. The question about a conversation with the boss was rejected because he was probably not in the house. Then we paid for the drinks and left the shop. Wasn't our first visit to Ello, but definitely the last! A little tip for the kitchen: nothing that has already been with the guest or on the buffet may be given out again! Disgusting!
Hello dear fellow citizens and Fellow citizens It seems that the Corona issue has not yet arrived at the Ello / Elshoff bakery. Although a mask is important here, the rolls are touched without gloves. For me as an end consumer, even without Corona, it should be a matter of course to handle bread with gloves. At the moment, you should think that you are making a clear statement in the interests of the customer and the community. Pay careful attention to hygiene! Despite friendly advice, you are looked at like an alien My very clear recommendation ... Never against!
Breakfast very good. Unfortunately, the service didn't catch up at all today. Let's see what it looks like on the next visit.
Delicious food and delicious drinks. Super cozy atmosphere. The staff still needs some improvement with regard to organization, but very nice service!
Nice café with country bakery and small menu, indoor and outdoor. The prices are okay. Friendly service. Recommended as a rest for bike tours or walks or a meeting point with friends.

Employees are not completely understood, but they are super nice and courteous. Price performance is also okay. Bread rolls, bread, cake, lunch table, everything great, we would be happy to recommend.
We were a group of about 20 people. The drinks came very slowly. I had the feeling we were not prepared. Otherwise it was very nice though. We felt very comfortable.

Ello is an extraordinary place! Bakery meets pub meets restaurant! Ambience is industrially cozy! Service excellent! Food regional and delicious! Price / offer: Very good! Will definitely be back! 👍👍👍👍
Great shop, nice service. I particularly liked the "Flammkuchen rolls" on my last visit (see picture) The burger the other day was great too! Keep it up.
